Sing With Us

If you are interested in becoming a member of The Queensland Choir, here is where you can do it. If you have a passion for singing and would like to perform as part of an elite vocal ensemble, we invite you to audition for us.

If you prefer to sit in on a rehearsal before deciding to join us you would be most welcome at one of our Monday evening rehearsals. Just call the choir office to let us know you are coming so that we can welcome you and provide you with music for the evening concerned.

Many of our  choristers have completed courses in vocal studies and like all members they  continue to develop their voices through master classes and choral workshops. This is part of their commitment to excellence in choral performance, something that we value highly.

To ensure a consistently high standard of performance, all applicants must audition, along with current members, every year.  Those who are accepted into the choir must commit to a busy performance schedule in and around Brisbane.

Singers interested in joining us  are welcome to apply for an audition, or alternatively to attend rehearsals as a guest and have a sing with us. This can help you to decide whether the Queensland Choir is the right chorus for you.

Major auditions are held at the end of January each year but we also run them throughout the year by appointment. These are held  during the regular Monday rehearsals.
